The company’s work at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) recognized once again for excellence in AV technology.
Diversified, a leading global technology solutions provider, has been awarded a 2020 InAVate APAC Award in the ‘Leisure and Entertainment’ project category for its work at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia. InAVate’s AV integration awards program for Asia Pacific celebrates excellence in the region’s AV industry. This marks Diversified’s second award for its work on the project, with a third nomination waiting to be announced in November.
Working in partnership with the client, Melbourne Cricket Club, and Auditoria on design, Diversified led the project as head contractor for the upgrade of stadium-wide audio systems for the iconic stadium in Australia. The project delivered a seamless, immersive audio experience for fans visiting the 100,000-seat stadium for Australia’s biggest sporting and entertainment events.

For the first time in InAVate’s history, the publisher announced a joint winner for a category, with Diversified awarded alongside Shenzhen Sonar Integrated System for their work at the Shenzhen World Exhibition Center in China. “This was by far the toughest category for our judges to decide on,” comments Awards host, Hurrairah bin Sohail. “It came down to two projects. In the end, they were unable to find clear separation between the two.”
From a wide field of entries, 26 category finalists were announced in July, representing projects from Australia, India, Hong Kong, Korea, China Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan and demonstrating the exceptional work that is delivered by the AV industry across the Asia Pacific region.
Winners for all the nine categories were announced at a virtual event attended by consultants, system integrators, distributors, manufacturers and AV professionals from across the globe.
