Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Bars for small and medium-sized meeting rooms and collaboration spaces have been certified for Microsoft Teams.
The plug-and-play devices, which were launched last summer, are available in two models: the TeamConnect Bar S, featuring four microphones and two speakers; and the TeamConnect Bar M, which is equipped with six microphones and four speakers.
The TC Bar’s integrated beamforming technology enables freedom of movement and seamless transitions between presenters. The device’s 4K Ultra HD camera offers AI features such as ‘autoframing’ and ‘person tiling’, which enable all remote participants to see everyone in the room.
Flexible and scalable room set-ups are facilitated by an onboard Dante port for extension mics and an option to add an external USB camera. Multiple mounting options and remote management via Sennheiser Control Cockpit simplify integration into any space.
Charlie Jones, Sennheiser’s global alliance and partnership manager, said: “Certification for Teams has become essential for our meeting solutions, as we consistently receive feedback on the benefits our customers experience using our products in Microsoft Teams Rooms.
"The new TeamConnect Bars represent another robust Sennheiser solution, delivering clear audio and, for the first time, video to Teams meetings.”
Albert Kooiman, senior director, Microsoft Teams partner engineering and certification at Microsoft, said: “As we continue to recognise the essential role of audio clarity in today's dynamic meeting environments, we are pleased to welcome Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Bars into the Microsoft Teams ecosystem."
