Passion City Church Puts Down Roots in Cumberland
Diversified delivers broadcast technology that improves what people expect when they attend a gathering.
Nearly 10 years after building their first permanent Atlanta location at 515 Garson Drive, Passion City Church sought to construct a new facility in Cumberland. Diversified was tasked with implementing broadcast technology in new ways to improve the live experience, working with Passion to make it the best it can be. Having launched in Cumberland in 2017 at North Atlanta High School, this permanent home is not only vital for the growing church community in the city but also serves as the production hub for the Passion organization, meaning that all broadcast content sent out to the world is cut and mixed from this location.
“Passion City holds themselves to the very highest standards that I’ve ever experienced, often executing services on Sunday with complexity that would make professional production crew heads spin, all with the most dedicated team of door holders you’ve ever seen,” states Tim Corder, Director of Strategic Accounts for Diversified’s House of Worship team. “The teaching pastor often times preaches from either Atlanta location at a moment’s notice, live linked moments or even baptisms going back and forth round robin style between locations are the norm, and the worship you experience online may be from a different location than the live message originates from. The production team adapts in both pre-production and in real time at the highest levels.”
This was the first time that the organization had worked with a single partner for all the technology systems in the facility. As Tim explains, the Passion team is unique because they have several experts on their production team, and they knew they needed the right partner to achieve their production goals. Diversified was trusted to support their exact vision at a very granular level, developing solutions that represent several first’s in the church production world.
