AVIXA Digital Signage Power Hour | On-Demand

Jay Leedy of Diversified joins AVIXA and other industry leaders to address how digital signage is being deployed to solve new access control challenges.

As more offices, retailers and even quick service restaurants begin to open back up following mandated closures, digital signage is meeting new access control needs within the “new normal.” In addition to its traditional use as a communications tool, digital signage is now being leveraged in new ways to manage crowds and reassure security.

Jay Leedy, Director of Business Development of Diversified’s Digital Media Group specialty, joined the AVIXA team during their second digital signage power hour to highlight solutions that solve new access control challenges.

“Everything inarguably centers around communication. It conveys a sense of confidence and a degree of security that there’s a measure that’s being taken as people move into spaces–whether it’s to their own work environment or a retail environment– and tying into a number of other mechanisms that enable that to be potentially automated so that people can more confidently enter a space,” says Leedy.
