Diversified was engaged by global legal services firm, Herbert Smith Freehills to upgrade the backbone of their audio visual communications systems to cater to digital connectivity at their Perth office. The company, which relies on robust audio visual communications with clients and staff, required the seamless integration of the latest in audio visual technology with some of their existing system equipment. The results were an intuitive and cohesive system that will amplify the communications, collaboration and connectivity and that the firm can depend on every time.
The scope of work included small and large meeting, training and conferencing spaces to be equipped with superior display, audio and control technology for oral, video and data presentations, as well as teleconferencing and video conferencing. It also required the integration of the reception area and kitchen facilities.
Existing projection systems were upgraded to Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array (WUXGA) Sony digital projectors and ceiling-recessed screens (92” and 110” in size, fixed and motorized). One room was upgraded from its existing projection system to a Samsung 55” LCD display, with Foxtel functionality.
Connection points cater to digital and analogue inputs for ultimate connectivity and ease-of-use through all devices. Room-linking ability between three spaces was provisioned for with audio and video reinforcement that allows for larger meetings with additional participants.
All rooms feature advanced controls for audio and video calls as well as presentation management, light and blind control. Room touch panels include a Waiter Call system that communicates directly with the office’s kitchen facilities for easy catering and room service requirements. An AMX solution was used for the majority of the control functionality and the systems were specially programmed by Diversified to be easily operated by all users.
