On the heels of the successful execution of a first project for Fairhaven Church at their Centerville campus, Diversified was engaged to assist Fairhaven in carrying many of the technology solutions developed for their main campus to a new satellite church in Springboro, OH. The goals for this space were to create the best worship experience of any of their other regional campuses while staying inside an extremely aggressive budget and a long-term lease commercial facility.
The Springboro campus had previously met in a local school with a portable technology system. This meant that they already owned several production tools that could be repurposed inside the permanent facility such as a projector, audio console and wireless microphones, even some stage lighting tools. Diversified started with this existing inventory of pieces and parts, building a cohesive system by filling in the gaps with scope such as a new loudspeaker system, additional video system pieces to facilitate receiving the message over the public internet as broadcast from the Centerville campus, stage lighting and haze, house lighting and acoustics, and circulation audio and video for the lobby and main entrance. Diversified also assisted the church and project construction team in room shaping and space planning to ensure the most logical use of the facility overall.
The result is an intentional space that feels true to Fairhaven Church’s brand. This space has become a sort of benchmark for future campus expansions to come, proving that it is possible to plant a regional location with a great feeling environment while fitting inside of a budget that makes equal sense with the stewardship goals for the campus.
