When Passion City Church set out to expand into the unique Trilith community—home to one of the largest film production studios in the U.S.—they knew this new campus couldn’t just be another church venue. It had to reflect the creative spirit of the community and meet the high production standards of a congregation filled with industry professionals.

Housed in a massive film soundstage, the environment was acoustically dead and visually expansive, offering both a blank canvas and a technical hurdle. Passion City needed systems that could be powerful yet portable, immersive but distraction-free, and adaptable enough to support the church’s signature multi-campus live-linked worship experience.

A Touring-Style System for a Dynamic Space:

Because the venue was never intended to be permanent, the entire system was designed with mobility in mind. Every component from video and audio to lighting and control was configured in a modular, touring-style format. This gave the church the flexibility to scale and relocate the entire setup in the future without compromising production quality or disrupting the worship experience.

Visual Storytelling on a Grand Scale:

At the heart of the main stage design is a massive LED video wall set against a seamless white cyc wall, creating a blank canvas for vibrant visual storytelling. Whether through worship lyrics, video content, or abstract motion design, the visual system enables deep engagement while staying firmly in service of the message. All content is managed through an advanced control and routing system, making transitions and real-time production smooth and reliable. .

With a production-savvy team behind the scenes, Passion City needed a camera and video infrastructure that matched their high standards. Professional-grade cinema cameras and advanced video processing ensure crisp, film-quality visuals across both live and streamed experiences. The system is also fully integrated with the broader Passion City network, supporting seamless campus-to-campus communication and live-linked moments across multiple locations.

Immersive Spatial Audio That Moves You:

The soundstage presented an acoustic challenge: a massive, silent box. Instead of fighting it, Diversified leaned in—engineering an audio solution that recreates natural reflections and warmth, making spoken word and music feel alive in the space. A spatial audio platform adds dimension and depth, creating an environment where every seat feels personal and every voice is heard clearly.

Lighting plays a vital role in how attendees experience the space. The system was designed with flexibility at its core—allowing for consistent looks week to week while also supporting elevated production moments for events and special services.
