The National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) decided to move office spaces to 2017 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. Diversified partnered with Cresa Project Management to provide the technology needs for the office move, which included multiple conference rooms, a divisible multi-purpose space, reception area, pantry and executive offices.
In the divisible conference room, Diversified installed two 80” commercial-grade flat panel displays as well as switching and distribution systems that will manage and route all video signaling from source to display. Diversified also installed hanging ceiling microphones and loudspeakers to support conferencing and program audio. All systems within the office space are controlled with wireless touch screen controllers. The divisible space is also equipped with a new partition sensor to automatically identify the divisible status of the rooms and programmatically allow/restrict access to system functions accordingly.
Additionally, Diversified provided a web-based video teleconferencing (VTC) system in the medium-sized conference room using a soft codec appliance and a USB web camera mounted above the display to connect to a laptop using a video hub. This system will be flexible and scalable as it natively supports Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business and all major SIP platforms.
As a complete renovation to an existing office space, Diversified designed and delivered modern technology that will support NMPF for years to come whether they remain the same size or continue to grow and scale technology needs.
