From Temp to Trusted Partner
When Kamal joined Diversified in 2022, he wasn't stepping into a defined career path. He was brought in as a temporary employee to help support a challenging project that needed immediate attention.
What stood out more than his ability to learn quickly was his willingness to dig into the details, understand the work and take ownership of the outcome.
That mindset helped him move from temp to Project Coordinator and eventually into his current role as Associate Project Manager. Today, he supports one of Diversified's largest enterprise financial services accounts, managing everything from digital display deployments and audio systems to service requests, upgrades and decommissioning projects.
Preparation Makes the Difference
For Kamal, successful project management starts long before installation day.
Before a project begins, he's reviewing scope, understanding what was sold, evaluating site requirements and making sure the right resources are in place. The goal is simple: eliminate surprises before they happen.
That attention to detail helps him identify potential issues early, keep projects on track and create a smoother experience for both clients and internal teams.
It's also one of the reasons he's known for staying calm under pressure. When challenges arise, he's usually already thought through the next step.

Building Confidence
One project in particular highlights the impact of that approach.
A large deployment for a major financial institution came with an aggressive timeline and a client that wasn't convinced the work could be completed quickly enough to meet their needs. The technology wasn't the challenge. Building confidence was.
Because the project was in his area, Kamal met with the client in person to walk through the schedule, explain the process and provide visibility into how the team planned to accelerate delivery.
That conversation changed the dynamic of the project.
Once expectations were aligned, the work moved forward smoothly. Kamal coordinated engineering, logistics, warehouse operations and field teams while managing a compressed schedule with little room for error.
The project was delivered successfully, and the client responded by expanding the scope with more than 30 additional displays at the same location.
For Kamal, it was a reminder that strong communication can be just as important as technical execution.
A Team-First Mindset
Ask Kamal what he enjoys most about working at Diversified and he doesn't talk about promotions or project wins. He talks about the people.
