Objective

What began in 2003 as a beach volleyball small group of 16 has grown into a multi-campus movement serving more than 11,000 people weekly across Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, and now West Palm Beach. With that growth came a constant challenge to ensure enough seats for everyone walking through the doors.

In 2024, an unexpected opportunity arose when an existing West Palm Beach facility became available. Journey Church instantly secured it, adding 1,200 seats per service and easing capacity pressure at their other campuses. But timing was critical—the church needed the new campus open fast, and the building came with structural limitations that would normally slow a renovation of this scale.

Partnering with Diversified, they set out to create more than square footage: a concert-level worship space, a broadcast hub, and a world-class AVL environment.

When construction surprises and building limitations surfaced, the team adapted in real time to maintain momentum.
