As one of the world’s largest financial institutions, the client set out to reimagine what a global headquarters could be. Rising more than 50 stories in one of the world’s leading financial districts, the new 2 million square foot tower brings together thousands of employees in a workplace designed for speed, scale, and connection.

Part of a broader global investment in modernizing offices, the building reflects the firm’s commitment to creating environments that better support how its people work, bringing employees, clients, and leadership together in a more connected, collaborative setting.

To achieve this vision, the organization needed a technology foundation capable of keeping pace with a fast-moving, global enterprise—supporting high-stakes meetings and critical communications where timing, clarity, and consistency are essential.

Network-Centric Foundation

At the heart of the solution is a large-scale SMPTE ST 2110 network, one of the most advanced enterprise AV-over-IP deployments in the region. By bringing audio, video, and control onto a single IP network, the client can move content easily between rooms, floors, and eventually other buildings. This broadcast-grade backbone handles more data than the building’s traditional IT network, underscoring the scale of the environment.

Flexible Conference and Collaboration Spaces

Diversified built a range of conference spaces spanning two floors designed to flex with the needs of the business. From standard meeting rooms to divisible and multipurpose spaces, each environment supports different ways of working. Technologies including a 114-foot video wall and large-scale projection systems allow teams to move seamlessly from everyday meetings to high-impact presentations.

Control Rooms

Executive and High-Security Environments

Four more floors are dedicated to executive and operational spaces. These rooms are more tailored, with a focus on reliability, privacy, and ease of use. Customized AV systems and localized control ensure consistent performance during high-stakes conversations.

Centralized Control and Broadcast Operations

Instead of tying each room to its own control system, the team implemented a centralized model in a single location. Approximately 15 control rooms, supported by more than 75 equipment racks, can dynamically manage any space in the building. This approach adds flexibility and enables broadcast-level production across multiple rooms simultaneously.

The team adapted in real time, scaling resources and bringing in specialized expertise to stay on track, ultimately bringing a complex, networked AV system online and fully operational from day one.
