Diversified Wins 2019 Solomon Award for House of Worship Project

Team delivers innovative church technology refresh to meet creative requirements under tight budget and an even tighter timeline.

Kenilworth – Diversified, a leading global technology solutions provider, is proud to receive the 2019 WFX Solomon Award for Best Design and Installation of Video Display or Lighting Design (801-2,000 seats) for their work at Eastern Hills Community Church in Aurora, CO.

The Solomon Awards recognize excellence in facilities design, building expansion or remodeling, innovative use, and technical production, and are judged not only on the project’s church technology design but also how well the project was delivered. Approached by Eastern Hills in late January 2019, Diversified was tasked with completing a theatrical lighting and video display installation in time for their Easter service in less than three months.

As the final stage in an upgrade that had already spanned three years, the primary goals were to create a multi-layered modern theatrical lighting system with high color saturation, capable of a variety of looks and feels from the same design, alongside a center LED wall as a digital canvas to replace a 55” flat panel TV during teaching and repositioned IMAG side screens.

Working within a firm budget and aggressive timeline, the Diversified team designed a unique church technology concept that would meet the church’s creative requirements and successfully transitioned to the new system ahead of schedule. Diversified even added a “video cross” comprised of seven LED panels as the installation was wrapping up, to help the church maintain focus on the important symbol in a modern and fresh way.
