Commercial Integrator: Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field Has 22 AV Closets—but No Fans to Enjoy It in 2020
Diversified leverages extensive portfolio to deliver massive technology scope at new MLB ballpark.
“Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the…. crowd?” With the ongoing pandemic and social distancing requirements, this year’s MLB season will finally see opening day this week, but it will be very different as players take the field without a single fan in attendance. However, that’s not slowing down the excitement for the Texas Rangers as they begin games in their new Globe Life Field.
Having partnered with the team in the past at a previous ballpark, Diversified outfitted the new stadium with Audio Visual technology throughout the seating bowl, concourses and suites as well as installed broadcast cabling, IPTV and the control room.
“It was an exciting project that was able to showcase what Diversified is built for: one hand to shake and take on all those scopes,” says Christopher Sullivan, vice president of business development for Diversified’s sport and live events team. “That made it simple for the Rangers.”
